I can't tell you how much fun I had making this tutorial for you guys! This may very well be my favorite tutorial of the year. I wore this makeup look in the Faith Fashion: Guide to Winter video and I think it looks great! The look is inspired by the song "Blue Christmas" and Disney's Frozen.

Faith Fashion: Winter 2013

These are my four go to winter outfits right now! My hopes were that there would be at least one outfit in this video that every girl could see herself in, so I hope you guys like these looks and you are inspired to come up with your own fun and fierce looks for the winter season! I know it's easy to get stuck in the same jeans, fuzzy boots, and snuggly sweater all winter, but I also really enjoy mixing it up. This video gives you guys a glimpse of my style and how I like to dress when it is cold outside, but I still want to look like I have it all together.

The first outfit in this video is my Comfy and Feminine look. I love tights, especially if they are bold, bright, or just plain different. I pretty much pair everything with tights during the winter and this look I paired my bright purple tights with some thick and cozy shorts from Charlotte Russe. These shorts are made out of winter jacket-like material. They are super comfortable, but because of the material I can only wear them when it's cold outside (or at least neutral), which is kind of ironic, because they are shorts. But they look really good with purple or black tights. I'm wearing a grey T-shirt and a fuzzy white cardigan to keep it casual and kind of laid back. My favorite knee-high black boots are LifeStride brand. I got them for $10 at department store in Louisville and they have lasted me for years which is pretty impressive in my book. Also I feel like shorts, tights, and boots is just the perfect combination for fall and winter. To add a little bit of glam to the look, I wore my big sparkly bow ring, which I received as a hostess present from Premiere Designs. This look is perfect for everyday, because it's somewhat relaxed while still being very girly and fun.

The next look is great for holiday parties! It's Festive and Edgy...and simple. I'm just wearing a basic emerald-colored skater dress and some eclectic velveteen leggings from Forever21. These dresses are so great, because you can dress them up or down and they come in a variety of colors. The leggings are actually see through, so you do not want to wear them as pants, but they do look good with dresses and skirts and shorts. I chose to wear some very cute ankle boots from the Candie's collection at Kohl's. I think they look awesome with this outfit.
Personally, I do not like short necklaces with this dress, so I'm wearing my clock necklace from Icing by Claire's, because it hangs low and the copper color looks good with the green of the dress. To make it more Christmas themed, you can add a red blazer. To make it more fierce and casual I paired the outfit with a black semi-sheer pointed hem jacket from Forever21.

How can you look Casual and Sharp at the same time while staying warm at the same time? With look #3! Jeans, Candie's ankle boots, and blue blazer. I think this is Mudd blazer from Kohl's, but I'm not sure. The jeans and the grey shirt tone down the sharp blazer and the spunky heels. I was somewhat inspired by Emily Thorne from Revenge for this look.

Look four is my favorite! Classy & Cute! I got the Chiffon statement necklace from Premiere Designs. The blue blouse is from the Candie's collection at Kohl's. My comfy shoes are Hot Cakes brand. I wore nude tights with this outfit because I love tights and it is cold outside so this keeps the wind off my skin. The nice thing about this look is it can be a casual look or a more dressy look. The Hot Cakes are super casual, so if you wanted to wear this to a party, I would suggest different shoes.

ipsy Glam Bag Opening: Dec 2013 (Celebration!)

This month's ipsy bag theme is "Celebration", so everything in this bag is designed to get you ready for a party. I liked what I got in this bag, but it was no where near as exciting as last month's bag. I still want to share with you what I got, my review of the product, the retail value, and where you can buy the products.

POP Beauty
Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow Trio in Naturally Bare *****

I am so excited to use this eye shadow, because I am really happy with POP! Beauty as a brand so far. I was glad to get another product from them. This is the perfect size to pop! into your purse for when you are in a rush to get out the door or if you need to make some touchups later on, or even if you need a travel size set of colors that go really well together for your upcoming holiday vacation. I could not find the trio size anywhere for sale, so I just had to guess at the retail value, and it is at least $8 in retail value. The compact is a good size and I am guessing the eye shadow is good quality based on my knowledge of the brand, but I have not taken the opportunity to play with the colors yet. To buy the palette these colors come from you can go to popbeauty.com or ULTA.

Be a Bombshell
The One Stick *****

I should have been way more excited about this product, but I have never been all that impressed with Be a Bombshell so I could not see past that to the awesomeness of this product! It retails at $16 and is another all-in-one product, kind of like the mineral stuff I got last month from Cailyn Cosmetics, only this is a cream, and it can be used as a blush, lip color, cream eye shadow or eye shadow primer. I am so thankful for this product now that I know what it is and I can't wait to try it out. You can find this product at beabombshellcosmetics.com

Nicka K New York
Nail Color in Classic Taupe ***

I really wish I would have gotten Ripe Apple instead, because I already have a lot of nail polishes very similar to this color so I decided not to keep it, because it would be a waste to try it once and never use it again. I have never heard of this brand. It only retails at $4.99 (I don't mean to be a snob, but usually when a nail polish is $4.99 at regular price, you get what you pay for--cheap!) I did not get to try out the formula so I do not know if it is Grade A quality or not. I would have rather gotten another Nailtini polish or ZOYA. You can find this product at nicka.com

English Laundry
Signature Fragrances **

I don't even want to talk about this. I am just so disappointed. I don't know if this was just a mess-up or what. But lid was not screwed on all the way on one of the perfumes and it leaked. It looks like both of the vials I got were only half-full anyway, so I am really unimpressed. The scents were just OK, not terrible, but not great. I would have liked a perfume in a roller-ball or a vial with the lid completely screwed on so much more! I was excited about getting perfumes, but these were sample size products that were not even full to begin with and that just really disappoints me, because you could probably call the company and get these samples for free. This was kind of a fail, ipsy. Really sorry, because I love you guys, but I cannot even include this in the retail value estimation of this bag. AND I'm pretty sure after reading the description of the scent that didn't spill, that it's a GUY scent! I'm not positive, but that's really what it sounds like. You can find this product at englishlaundryfragrance.com

J.Cat Beauty
Big Lip Pencil in Red Rose

Love this! It is a beautiful color and I absolutely love J. Cat Beauty! This and the all-in-one stick and the eye shadow trio saved the bag! This is the cheapest product in the bag, but so perfect for the holidays and I know it's good quality, because I love the lipstick I got from this brand. You can find this product at jcatbeauty.com

The retail value of this bag is at least $33, so it is still a very good deal for $10. The Be a Bombshell all-in-one stick is $16. Just to try out that product (full-size) for $10 is pretty cool! A Holiday Makeup Tutorial (Fall to Winter)

This is a really simple tutorial. If you have a kit from ULTA it should have five colors just like this in it. If not, it's just three shades of red, a dark glittery green, and a sparkly black (You can use any black. I chose a sparkly black for my version of this look. The effect will be about the same no matter what.)

Here is a full list of the products I used and where you can find them;
 - Black glittery eye shadow from Forever21 (I recommend ULTA eyeshadow in Galaxy as an alternative.)
 - Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil http://chella.com/products/item/lace_highlighter_pencil/
 - MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner in Black http://www.micabeauty.com/gel-eyeliner.html/?gg
 - Joelle Bronzer (This was actually a gift so I am not sure where you can buy it.)
 - Be a Bombshell Blush http://beabombshellcosmetics.com/blush/
