November ipsy Glam Bag Review (2013)

The ipsy glam bag is a $10 monthly beauty subscription which includes 4-5 sample, travel, and full-size drugstore and high-end products each month. This month they gave me 6 products with a total retail value of $89. I am so impressed! I love getting new products each month and not breaking my budget! It's great! Go to http://www.ipsy.com/r/10kn and subscribe to get your own glam bag!

The products I received in my glam bag this month;

- pillow plush cushiony lip balm from em michelle phan in lollipop (retails for $15)

I was so excited to try out a product from em! There is not much color, but it really is a bit of fresh air to the lips. I'm definitely wanting to try more from em. I love the packaging! Very cool! I've used it almost everyday since I got my glam bag.

- Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless (retails for $14)

This is not one of my favorite products I have gotten, but the color is nice. I like it, I just probably won't use it much. I tend to use more natural lip colors.

- Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Caviar Cocktail (retails for $13)

I really like Nailtini's formula! so even though this is my third nail polish I have gotten from ipsy, I'm always happy to get more.

- Pixi Beauty Bronzer (retails for $18)

Great quality! This color works for me and I like the packaging. Pixi is awesome and another one of those brands I cannot get enough of.

- Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil in Topaz (retails for $14)

I normally don't like getting Starlooks products, but this color is beautiful! If you watch my makeup tutorials, this will not be the last time you see this product! I've been using it a lot lately and I'm happy with the results. It's a silver color and goes on creamy and pure. It makes for a really cool inner corner highlight on the eyes.

- Cailyn Built-In Sponge Tip Mineral Eye Shadow in Champagne (retails for $15)

This stuff is so cool! I do love Cailyn Cosmetics, but the interesting thing about this product is you can use it for so many things by adding different mediums. You can use it as an eye shadow, liner, mascara color, or lip color. If you add it to clear nail polish, it can be a nail color. I love stuff like this!

ipsy gets an A+ in my book! this was an excellent bag!

Alice in Wonderland Nails

Products used; China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat, Claire's Nail Care Nail Art Brushes, Claire's nail jewels, Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Frappe & Mai Tai, China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Smoke and Ashes & Blonde Bombshell, Ultra Pro Salon Formula Nail Lacquer in Royal Purple & Molten Red, Mary Kay Nail Lacquer in Blue Lotus, Lime Crime Crema De Limon, Revlon Nail Art Expressionist Pink, and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

The clock on my thumb represents is for the rabbit, the cup on my pointer finger is for the Mad Hatter, on my middle finger is blonde hair with a bow I made out of two heart-shaped jewels draped over a blue dress for Alice, my ring finger has a heart on it for the Queen of Hearts/the Red Queen, and pinky is purple with pink stripes for the Cheshire Cat.
If you're not into Alice in Wonderland, this could still be a fun nail art experiment for you. And each picture could represent something else. Example: A clock for spending your time well, a cup for relaxation and enjoying the simple things, a girl for youth and beauty always and forever on the inside, a heart for love, purity, and compassion, and finally, the stripes for playfulness and inspiration!
